S3Browser
Learn how to use S3Browser(app version 10.8.1) to store backups on the ScPrime distributed datacenter using the XNS Relayer
Overview
S3Browser is an app that backs up your files to your cloud storage account. S3Browser is compatible with S3 protocol destinations, so it makes a good match for XNS storage.
Read this guide for how to configure S3Browser to backup to XNS.
Prerequisites
- Install S3Browser Backup from here
- Install the XNS Relayer
- Configure the XNS Relayer’s Endpoint Access Key and Endpoint Secret Key
Setup Guide
Step 1: Open S3Browser and Add New Account
Display Name | [Name] | Name your account |
Account Type | [S3 Compatible Storage] | S3 Compatible Storage |
REST Endpoint | [Your IP : MinIO Port] | This is the IP or hostname of your XNS Relayer andthe port defined in the Advanced Settings (‘MINIO_PORT’, default is 9000). |
Access Key: | [Endpoint Access Key (Username)] | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
Secret Key: | Endpoint Secret Key (Password) | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
User Secure Transfer (SSL/TLS) | [Checked] | If you are using MiniO on SSL check this option |
Step 2: S3Browser will scan the destination and list your buckets
Select bucket where you want to upload files/folders and rights click in the panel on the right to select upload files/folders
