Cyberduck Backup
Learn how to use Cyberduck (app version 8.5.6.39394) to store backups on the ScPrime distributed datacenter using the XNS Relayer
Overview
Cyberduck is an app that backs up your files to your cloud storage account. Cyberduck is is compatible with S3 protocol destinations, so it makes a good match for XNS storage.
Read this guide for how to configure Cyberduck to backup to XNS.
Prerequisites
- Install Cyberduck Backup from here
- Install the XNS Relayer
- Configure the XNS Relayer’s Endpoint Access Key and Endpoint Secret Key
Setup Guide
Step 1: Open Cyberduck Backup and click + at bottom right to add bookmark
Step 2: Select Amazon S3 from the drop down list and fill up the fields
Nickname | [Nickname] | Nickname the bookmark |
Labels | [Optional] | Label the bookmark |
Server | [Your IP] | This is the IP or hostname of your XNS Relayer |
Port | [MinIO Port] | the port defined in the Advanced Settings (‘MINIO_PORT’, default is 9000). |
Access Key: | [Endpoint Access Key (Username)] | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
Secret Key: | Endpoint Secret Key (Password) | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
SSH Private key | [None] | |
Client Certificate | [None] |
Step 3: Once your Bookmark is created, double click on your Bookmark to connect to XNS relayer
Step 4: Double Click Bucket where you want to store your backup files
Step 5: Right click in the empty field and select Upload option
Step 6: Select Files or Folders that you want to backup
