- Step 7: Click on Settings in left hand panel and click on created Storage provider to enter S3 destination credentials and click Save.
- Step 8: Click on Backup and then click on Add Protected item. Select files and Storage provider that you just created and click Backup Now. You can see the details of backup and finally confirmation that Operation Completed Successfully.

Overview
Comet Backup is an app that backs up your files to your cloud storage account. Comet Backup is compatible with S3 protocol destinations, so it makes a good match for XNS storage.

Prerequisites
- Install Comet Backup Backup from here
- Install the XNS Relayer
- Configure the XNS Relayer’s Endpoint Access Key and Endpoint Secret Key
Setup Guide
Step 1: Add user and download client.
Step 2: Open Comet Backup and login as user created in dashboard, select Files and Folder and click next
Step 3: Select Files that you want to backup to XNS and click Next.
Step 4: No extra commands needed, click Next
Step 5: In Schedules click + on right hand side
Step 6: Click + to add Custom Storage vault, Name it and click Next. In choose storage location select S3-Compatible and click Ok. Save storage location.
Step 7: Click on Settings in left hand panel and click on created Storage provider to enter S3 destination credentials and click Save.
