Cloudmounter
Learn how to use Cloudmounter to create a mount point for your XNS storage
Overview
Mount all popular cloud storage accounts as regular drives and keep your information safe and secure with CloudMounter. Unlike native clients of Dropbox, Google Drive, MS OneDrive and other providers it does not sync your online data, the app connects directly to the cloud servers, thus significantly saving the hard drive space of your computer. CloudMounter also encrypts your files to ensure their safety.
Prerequisites
- Install Cloudmounter from https://cloudmounter.net/
- Install the XNS Relayer
- Configure the XNS Relayer’s Endpoint Access Key and Endpoint Secret Key

Setup Guide
Step 1: Open Cloudmounter
Open the Cloudmounter app. Select Amazon S3
Step 2: Enter your credentials
Input the information from your relayer instance.
Name: | [select a name] | |
Server endpoiont: | [Your IP]:[Minioport[ | This is the IP or hostname of your XNS Relayer |
Access Key: | [Endpoint Access Key (Username)] | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
Secrey Key: | Endpoint Secret Key (Password) | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
Bucket name: | Leave as “/” | Use existing setting provided by application |
Drive: | [Assign a drive letter] | Assign which drive letter to use |
Step 3: Click mount and verify
Click Mount located at the bottom right corner of the screen. This will mount to your specified location. Go to explorer to verify it has been created. You should be able to open this drive and see all of your buckets/files
