Overview
Arq is an app that backs up your files to your cloud storage account or NAS. Arq is compatible with S3 protocol destinations, so it makes a good match for XNS storage.

Prerequisites
- Install Arq Backup from here
- Install the XNS Relayer
- Configure the XNS Relayer’s Endpoint Access Key and Endpoint Secret Key

Setup Guide
Step 1: Open Arq Backup
Step 2: Create Backup Plan
Click on the Create Backup Plan button in the top right of the Arq Backup window and select Data backup task.
Step 3: Select Files to Backup
Select Backup Files. Then click Next.
Step 4: Select Add Storage Location
Step 5: Select S3 – Compatible Server
Step 6: Add S3 – Compatible Storage Location
Server url: | [Your IP]:[MinIO Port] | This is the IP or hostname of your XNS Relayer and the port defined in the Advanced Settings (‘MINIO_PORT’, default is 9000). |
Region | any | This setting is optional |
Access Key: | [Endpoint Access Key (Username)] | This is defined in the XNS Relayer General Configuration. |
